Centrist perspective here — I rarely comment on these psuedo-intellectual my-ideas-are-the-only-good-ideas collective Left back-scratch here on Medium, but I have to say this entire piece demonstrates an utter lack of understanding and oversimplification of “the other side”. The argument that we can’t take someone’s political view seriously because “Trump” accomplishes nothing and isn’t very original. Especially going forward. You’re going to run out of content pretty fast. America is too large and diverse to be grouped into two or three factions. Take a walk in the street outside of a coastal city. You’ll meet lots of different people with different ideas. It may even surprise you how much you have in common. Yawn
